Fitted garter stitch jacket with flare.

The Mermaid is worked vertically, starting from a knitted I-cord along the left front. From here you work a variety of stripes and plain colored gussets in short row technique giving the jacket its flattering flare. Front and back all in one piece
The sleeves are worked seperately and set into the armholes along an edge of chain stitches.
